The Interregional Cooperation Programme INTERREG IVC, financed by the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, helps Regions of Europe work together to share experience and good practice in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and risk prevention. EUR 302 million is available for project funding but, more than that, a wealth of knowledge and potential solutions are also on hand for regional policy-makers.


Kick-off conference - 20th February, 2009

Mayors, vice-mayors and project managers of 12 partners from 7 European countries will celebrate CeRamICa project's launch in late February together with the large public attending the kick-off conference on the 20th of February in Hódmezővásárhely. Dozens of people have already registered to the conference to listen to speeches delivered by acknowledged European INTERREG Programme representatives, experts and delegates of the relevant government and regional authorities.
Legal representatives of all CeRamICa partner organisations - mayors, vice-mayors -will sign the Partnership Agreement of the project at the occasion of their first Political Board meeting. By coming together they are going to be validating the intentions of the partners incorporated already in the Application to co-operate in the next 3 years within the framework of CeRamICa for the revitalisation of their ceramics and small craft sectors via the identification and implementation of adequate policy measures based on the best European practices.
