On 15 and 16 October 2009, the town of Vallauris welcomed the 1st interregional Conference CeRamICa.
Elective representatives and professionals came from various European countries work together in order to jointly elaborate a development strategy for the professionals of the ceramics activities.
This is in Vallauris, in the historical potters’ city since the XVIe century, ground of prestigious ceramics creation with Pablo Picasso, Chagall or Jean Marais, that representatives came from Italy, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Greece and France met in order to federate the energies and to create a first European exchanges of experiences network for the ceramics and to facilitate the establishment of recommendations for local and regional development policies implementation.
